acta non verba :: Action, Not Words

Well, here is my first blog post.

Actually, that is not the truth, entirely.

So what is the truth then? Entirely. Many years ago, I did lay claim to being a blogger, albeit not a very good one though. My, at the time girlfriend was quite heavy into blogging. This was fine, except she counted quantity more over quality. She eventually convinced me that I should blog as well, since “tch, everyone is blogging you know”. So I began a blog, and like I said before, it was not a very good one.

I remember pouring hours into a post. One single post would consume for what seemed like endless lengths of time. I would fall into an almost catatonic state in creating my masterpieces. As soon as the post was ready, I would read it through once more, just to ensure every “I” was crossed and “t” dotted. I would proudly post it to my blog, and email a link to nearly everyone I knew. My message would be filled with enthusiasm, overflowing with pride.

Then, the responses would come in. (more…)
